How are you warming your cup before you make the drink?

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that cooling is a major component of separation.  Perhaps nuke your cup w/some water inside before you make the drink?!?

not sure if this will help, but it's easy enough to try assuming you have a microwave
I do a cooling flush into whatever I'm drinking the cappo from so it's warm.

I think I may be overheating the milk as well.  I'm going to be getting a thermometer soon so I can eliminate that variable.
